Iconic Hartford Diner in the process of being renovated and restored. Built in 1947 by the Paramount Dining Car Company, of New Jersey, and assembled in 1948 in its current location, The Aetna Diner was a Hartford institution. Later becoming the beloved Comet Diner and music club, then The Hog River Grill, and Dishes, the building is on the National Register of Historic Places. This is an incredible opportunity to bring back a well-loved piece of history. Ideally suited for a restaurant on the main level, and a club or event space on the lower level, the possibilities are endless.
